State Company for Mechanical Industries, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies succeeded in converting sprinkling irrigation systems at Nineveh province to cover 180 acre and the company is on the way to convert 380 devices to cover about 68400 acre at the province. Engineer Abdul Khadom Abdul Allah the company Acting General Director clarified to MIM information bureau that the sprinkling irrigation systems (polar, moveable and fixed) are the basic company products the company succeeded in converting sprinkling irrigation system from liner in to polar in cooperation with Ministry of Water Resources/ Al Jazzera Irrigation Directorate in Rabeaa in direct supervision of the province. Stressing that the company achieved technical success in operating the device. On the other hand the company has memoranda of under standing on manufacturing (Oil Refinery and Silo) and the company formerly announced the tender for industrial partnership in manufacturing (tractors, harvesters and agricultural tools and sprinkling irrigation systems) and the company contracted with sister companies to increase the production lines productivity and the company also under signing contracts to purchase new production lines (hot galvanization) for irrigation systems.
