State Company for Vegetable Oils Industries, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies laid down new future plans to improve and increase its production. Mr. Saleh Jasim the company Assistant General Director clarified that the company through exploiting investment plan allocations the company seeks to rehabilitate its production lines despite the Ministry of Trade decision on exclusion soap and detergents from rationing card items the company supplied only vegetable oils and open new marketing centers such as (New Baghdad, Al Khadomya, Al Adhamya, Al Mousel, Al Basrah and Messan provinces). He added that the company is endeavoring to improve packing quality to compete with the imported ones at the local markets in addition all the company products are subject to standardization at the quality control before and after production by qualified Iraqi engineers and technicians in addition the company has gained ISO (2001) certificate. He stressed that that company is still signing contracts with State Institutions including Ministry of Justice. At the same time Hana Hatam the company Planning Manager referring to the company is the main supplier to the Ministry of Trade with Vegetable Oil, Soaps and Detergents.
