State Company for Southern Fertilizers discusses with International Companies the investment opportunities and partnerships in the rehabilitation processes

Mr. Mahdi Salim Abdul Hassan State Company for Southern Fertilizers General Director one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies reported that Turkish, French and Korean Companies Delegations visited State Company for Southern Fertilizers during November, 2011 to acknowledge with the investment environment at Al Basrah Province and discussed the available investment opportunities and participate in implementing the private projects. In a statement to MIM information bureau that a negotiation with (Gubretas) Turkish Company on the important of future projects which implements according to investment and partnership, while the company discussed with (STX) Korean Company for Heavy Industries on the investment in Abi Al Khaseeb and participate in the new projects which will be establish in Khur Al Zubeir and Abi Al Khaseeb. He added that a deledation from (Violia) French Company presents readiness to present its services and supply with materials and devices in water treatment and express wishing to get the investment opportunities at the Province referring that a delegation from (Saypim) Italian Company visited the work site and acknowledge with the work devices and equipments which will starts in the rehabilitation. He referred that the company During November, 2011 produced (15921) tons of Urea Fertilizer and (11865) tons of Liquid Ammonia Gas while the company marketed (17620) tons of Urea to the State Company for Agricultural Supplies which Affiliates to the Ministry of Agriculture.
