State Company for Electric Industries, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies announced the rehabilitation of its plants. Engineer Salam Saaed Ahmed the company Acting General Director clarified to MIM information bureau that the company engineer and technical staff are about to implement the rehabilitation of machines and equipments for central and window air-conditioning plants within (4) billion I.D. allocation of 2010 investment plan. He added that the company allocated within 2007 investment plan amount to establish high tension motors coiling and manufacturing project at a total value of (3) billion and (884) million and (805) thousand I.D. to serve the operation of irrigation pumps and electric motors and all oil and industrial sectors at different capacities from (3.3-6.6-11) kv at (5) mw capacity referring that the project is hope to be inaugurated lately July, 2010. Referring to the second project of preparing distribution transformers project to serve electric sector in addition to private sector to lesson the burden over electric sector and maintain electric power and national wealth through maintaining distribution transformer of (100, 250, 400, 600, 1000) Kv in addition to manufacture integrated transformers of said capacities at 300 transformers per year or 750000 Kv per year referring to contract with international company from Turkey, Italy and Switzerland to supply main equipments and electric test devices for this project. On the other hand the company performed its concluded contracts with Ministry of Health and Cooperative Agricultural Bank to supply and install (2) caravans at (4*3 and 11*5) sizes and maintain (4) generators at (60) Kv capacity at a value of (86) million and (350) thousand I.D. . It is to be noted that State Company for Electric Industries marketed its different products to State Ministries and Institutions and State and Private Sectors.
