State Company for Construction Industries, one of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals State Companies succeeded in operating Al Mahaweel bricks plant. Mr. Ali Saleem the Company General Director clarified to MIM information bureau that the company successfully operated the plant and produced (443) thousand bricks through April, 2010 and (1) million bricks through May, 2010 which are equal to 805 of the designed capacity. On the other hand Mr. Saleem announced that the company achieved through May, 2010 the highest production rate in comparison with the same period of 2009 where the plant produced (3.100.000) bricks at 50% progress. It is to be noted that State Company for Construction Industries that the company executed 86% of the company headquarter and its affiliated plants project.
