Ministry of Industry and Minerals seeks to oblige its companies and plant to adhere to international environmental standards and also national limits. A statement for MIM information bureau that explained that (17) companies and plants are to conducts anti environmental pollution project at a value of (54) billion I.D. including water treatment unit and dust filters for both Nasir and Al Sumood State Companies and this project will ensure getting rid of the treated industrial water of Nasir State Company in addition to oust the dust, the project will cost (2) billion I.D. (1.5) billion I.D. out of it will be for Nasir State Company and (500) million I.D. for Al Sumood State Company. The Statement also referred to another project for treating industrial water and filtering dust of the State Company for Electric Industry in AL Wazerya and rehabilitate water treatment station and sewage waster for Baghdad Plant which affiliates to the State Company for Cotton Industries at a value of (1.5) billion I.D. each, and industrial water treatment project at values of (500) million I.D., (6) billion and (90) million I.D. and (2.5) billion I.D. for State Companies of Woolen Industries and Textile Industries/ Wasit and Tanning Plant which affiliates to State Company for Leather Industries respectively in addition to rehabilitate industrial water treatment project for Inks and Rating plants which affiliate to That Al Sawari State Company at a value of one billion I.D. in addition to a project to purify Babel 1 and Babel 2 plants sections atmospheres at a value of 2 billion I.D. and also Waste treatment project of Phosphate State Company at a value of (5) billion I.D. As well as a project for seizer of industrial water drain to the river of Al Rasheed Plant which affiliates to State Company for Vegetable Oils at a value of (3) billion I.D. and rehabilitate treatment unit of Al Tarmya which Affiliate to Ibn Seina State Company at a value of (250) million I.D., Al Mousel Sugar plant industrial water treatment unit at a value of (1.130) billion I.D., State Directorate of Industrial Development / Al Nahrawan Treatment Unit at a value of (20) billion I.D. and Al Numan State Company Painting Workshop at a value of (370) million I.D.. The gas limitation standards are for example carbon oxide estimated as (10 mlg/m3) per 8 hours while the same item is estimated as 9 parts of million per 8 hours the same applies for other gases and materials.
