1 New Ductile Pipes Plant :
Site of the Plant: Iskandaria/ Babylon Governorate.
Product & Design Capacity: Graphite Iron Ductile Pipes in certain diameters. It is suggested to implement the plant at 55 thousand ton/ year capacity of different diameters, by three shifts daily.
Raw Materials: All main raw materials are imported, however auxiliary material such as Cement, Zinc, and Asphalt required for lining are available locally.
Estimated Cost: $ 64 million.
Customer: Ministry of Municipality, supply the huge demand for Pipes.
2 Longitudinally Welded Pipes Plant Erw Plant
Site of the Plant: Basrah. City / Khor- Alzubair.
Product & Design Capacity: Erw-HFI Pipes. The suggested total productivity of the plant is assumed to be 350000ton/ year of longitudinally welded pipes as follows: 300000 ton/ year line pipes, 50000 ton/ year casing pipes.
Raw Materials: The main material used for production is the Hot Rolled Coils (HRC) and coating materials to be imported from abroad with definite specifications.
Estimated Cost: $ 300 million.
Customer: Ministry of Oil for New Pipeline Network
3 New Vegetable Oil Plant :
Site of the Plant: Basrah Governorate- Khor-Alzubair,Um Kasr
Product & Design Capacity: Refined palm oil, the production capacity suggested is 250000 ton/year.
Raw Materials: To be imported from the main producers and exporters of (Palm Oil), South East Asia countries especially Indonesia and Malaysia.
Estimated Cost: $ 60 million.
Customer: Ministry of Trade Local Market and Export
4 New Float Glass Plant :
Site of the Plant: Al-Anbar Governorate.
Design Capacity: 100000 ton /year capacity.
Raw Materials: Silica sand, Sodium carbonate, Limestone, Sodium Sulfate, Alumina oxide. The main material (Sand) is available at certain sites west of Iraq.
Estimated Cost: $ 150 million.
Customer: Local Market, supply the huge demand for rebuilding Iraq
5 kindy State Company:
Fire Fighting System Project
Site of the Plant: Nineveh governorate - AL musel.
Design Capacity: Not limited.
Raw Materials: Different electronic items.
Estimated Cost: $ 20 million

6 Ibn - Sena Chemical industry/ Intravenous Project (I.V.):
Infusion Fluids and Infusion Daialysis Solution
Site of the Plant: Baghdad - AL- Taji
Design Capacity: 16 million PCS.
Raw Materials: Sodium Chloride, Glucose, Poly Propylene Sachet
Estimated Cost: $ (15) million
Customer: All production will be supplied to Ministry of Health owing to the great need to supply the Iraqi Hospitals

7 Activation of Bentonite by Sodium Carbonate :
Site of the Plant: The investor shall select- with the assistance of local concerned authorities a suitable site to implement his plant at a site near the raw material deposit / Al-Anbar Governorate.
Design Capacity: 750000ton /year.

8 Sodium Sulfate Project :

10 Silica Sand Deposits:

Several Plants at various sites can be implemented to produce a range of drugs which are not produced by the State Owned Companies such as:

14 New Cement Plants
Investors are invited to implement their own cement plants utilizing abundant limestone reserve at different sites in Iraq. Availability of raw materials and wide scale local market need are the main strong points of these opportunities. Moreover production cost will be minimized because these projects will be nearby Limestone quarries.

1. Petrochemical Industries Project No.2:
Site of the Plant: It is suggested that the Investor shall construct his plant at Basrah, Thi-Qar or Babylon Governorate.
Design Capacity: 1 million ton /year Petrochemical Products.
Raw Materials: The main raw material is Natural Gas which is available. Locally.
Estimated Cost: $ (3000) .
2. Fertilizer Industries Projects
Site of the Plant: It is suggested that the Investor shall construct his plant at Basrah, Nineveh and Al-Anbar Governorate.
Design Capacity :( 0.5- 1) million Ton Urea Fertilizer /year (each plant)
Raw Materials: The main raw material is Natural Gas which is available locally.
Estimated Costs: $ (800-900) million (each plant).
3. Sulphur Mining Project:
Investment through partnership with the state in sulphur mining and treatment of Al-Mishraq Sulpher Mines.
Part of the mine is already utilized, for the Sulphur extraction concentration and treatment other parts of the mine are the subject of this investment opportunity (Investigation Extraction and Treatment).
4. New Iron and Steel Plant:
Investment to implement a new Iron and Steel Plant, utilizing Natural Gas, and huge quantities as scrap.Suggested Site: Basrah- South of Iraq.
5. Concentration of Raw Phosphate Project:
Abundant phosphate deposits reserve is available at the western desert - Iraq. It is nowadays partially utilized in phosphate fertilizer industry. Investors are invited to invest in extraction and concentration of phosphate deposits near through existing zkashat mines on partnership with the state companies.
Site: 15-20 Km North- East of Akashat Mines - Area 40 Km2.
Raw Materials: Medium grade Phosphate of 20- 22% P2O5 concentration 40% impurities mostly Calcite.
